１）繰返しPM試験を実現するために、まず、既存のシステムの単調載荷の圧力制御システムを改良して圧力制御の繰返しとして3段階・各最大10回までの繰返しができるようにした。次に、別途、流量制御（ひずみ制御）方式の載荷システムを一から組み上げて、LabViewによる制御プログラムを開発した。
２）上記の二つの制御方式の適用性を確かめるため、兵庫県三木市の兵庫耐震工学研究センターにある野外地盤材料ストックヤードを借用し，3つのゾンデを使用した試験を実施した。この実験では、緩い砂質土地盤を対象として，地下水位有の状態となしの状態の両方で、繰返しPM試験を実施した。試験中には，繰返しに伴う地盤内応力を計測するため，土圧および間隙水圧をモニタリングした。その結果、繰返し載荷による孔壁周辺地盤の剛性低下挙動を捉えると共に，土圧や間隙水圧の変化をとらえることができた。しかしながら、流量制御方式の載荷では、流量制御速度の面で予定した制御ができなかったこと、対象とした砂地盤の透水係数と排水長が短かったため繰返しによる過剰間隙水圧の消散速度が速く、過剰間隙水圧の蓄積挙動が見られなかったなど、課題を残した。
３）一方、地盤の物性評価のため、低加重の SWS 試験のトルク値を用いた造成盛土の締固め層厚の探索試験も実施した。比較的、浅い低拘束圧の緩い地盤でも、低加重の SWS 試験によって、締固めの程度をかなり詳細にとらえることができることが可能であることがわかった。
４）上記の実験結果は、年次報告レベルであるが学会で発表した。
