This research is to find out the relationship of characteristics of the place where the aged associate with neighbors. We carried out three detailed surveys on the association of the aged. As a result, we found next facts.
There ere many differences in behavior of the aged who live in metropolitan area and country area. The chances of association of the aged decreased by the change of family and conditions of mind and body. The place of association of the aged are narrowed into house gradually. The aged make proper use the place of dealing with people by kind of visitor.
We have to consider these characteristics of the aged's association when we reform the houses and facilities in residencial areas. -
